Water Storage Tanks
There are two types stainless steel in terms of material specs.
1) AISI 304 stainless steel modular water tank.
2) AISI 316 stainless steel modular water tank.
The most used type is AISI 304 stainless steel. They are widely used as domestic water tank, agricultural irrigation water tank, potable water tank, fire fighting water tank.
316 quality stainless steel is a superior material than 304 quality stainless steel because it uses more nickel. 316 quality stainless steel water tanks are preferred when more resistance to corrosion, that is, rust and wear, is required.
316 quality stainless steel water tanks are used in the food industry and for storing water that causes high corrosion.
