Galvanized Water Tank
Hot-dip or pre-galvanized modular steel water tanks — cost-effective storage for fire water, irrigation and non-hygienic utility water.
Share
Galvanized steel means steel whose surface is coated with zinc. Compared with stainless, galvanized modular tanks are a more affordable option where hygiene is not the primary requirement — fire water, potable-adjacent utility storage (subject to lining), garden and greenhouse irrigation.
Galvanizing types on the market
- Hot-dip galvanized — coating thickness typically 45–80 microns (preferred)
- Pre-galvanized — typically 8–10 microns
- Electro-galvanized — typically 3–6 microns (not recommended; thin coating fails quickly)
Desan Engineering does not produce electro-galvanized tanks. When specifying galvanized tanks, always confirm the galvanizing process and coating thickness.

Capacity is modular and project-specific. Share required volume, site layout, coating preference (hot-dip recommended) and whether an internal membrane/lining is needed.
